CARLSBAD, Calif. – Nov. 16, 2020 – SuiteCentric, an Oracle NetSuite Solution Provider and Commerce Agency Partner member, announced that its Chief Solution Officer and ERP Practice Director April Holman was named a finalist in the San Diego Business Journal’s 2020 Business Women of the Year Awards. These awards recognize dynamic women business leaders who have made significant contributions to San Diego’s workplaces and their local communities.
“We are extremely proud of April. She has played a pivotal role in the transformation of our company’s business model. And, she’s helped guide our transition from startup to an emerging force in the NetSuite ecosystem, said Sean Gillespie, chief operations officer at SuiteCentric. “She has the hard and soft skills required to be a leader in today’s complex business world, and these same skills are also on display as she participates in her local community.”
Winners will be announced on December 14, 2020, during a virtual event hosted by the San Diego Business Journal. Visit www.sdbj.com/BWOTY2020/ for additional information.
In 2019, April joined the SuiteCentric team as the ERP Practice Director to help build a new division dedicated to NetSuite’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Her determination and 25+ years of consulting, sales, and accounting experience fueled her immediate success as she routinely broke company utilization records, grew her team, and helped secure multiple new customers. These efforts also contributed to a record financial year for the company, a 400 percent increase in gross revenue since starting in 2017.
April is also an outstanding mentor, supportive leader, and skilled at nurturing relationships. These superlatives are earned through her work within SuiteCentric and her local community. Outside of the office, she is very active with causes in her local community that are close to her heart. April maintains Vice Presidential positions in the Carlsbad High School Parent Teachers Association and its Band Boosters. She is Treasurer for Theoria Technical College, a private institution specializing in Early Childhood Education; a member and volunteer for the Girl Scouts; a donor for Together We Rise and Red Cross charities; and a volunteer for COVID-19 grocery distribution initiatives.
